Story Title: The Wonderful Fizziwhizz Flowers

Comments: Jeepers creepers, where did you get those peepers, Baby North Star?!

I think I mentioned before my theory that the writers somehow got the First Tooth Baby Ponies set—of which Baby North Star is a representative—confused with the Beddy-Bye Eye Baby Ponies.

The BBE babies weren’t actually produced in the UK, but I can’t think of any other explanation for the fact that the First Tooth Babies were consistently drawn with a zillion eyelashes and strange eyes.

A brief introduction to Fizziwhizz Night
Source: My Little Pony #83 (G1)
Well, Halloween is over, but it’s not long until the next G1 pony holiday, Fizziwhizz Night (also sometimes spelled “Fizzwhizz”). It takes place around November 5th and, as many of you have no doubt guessed already, it is the pony equivalent of Guy Fawkes Night. These comics are British, after all.
Fizzy is generally in charge of Fizziwhizz Night, growing and then harvesting the magical fizziwhizz flowers that will dazzle the sky like fireworks. Also, one pony is chosen as the Fizziwhizz Pony each year.
The history of the holiday is never given and the ponies themselves do not burn effigies, but I just flipped the page of a comic and found a lovely picture of a Guy Fawkes effigy for the kiddies to trace. He’s on fire and everything, but is smiling and looks quite cheerful about it.
