I have the audio for this book on Youtube, but be warned, it’s HELLUVA LOUD.
A Pillow for Princess Pearl
Source: My Little Pony magazine #23 (G1)
Comments: I like this story. It’s nice seeing someone rescue a princess without the unsaid (or said!) expectation that they’ll get to marry her if they succeed. FRIENDSHIP for the win!
Awesome scene … the terrifying entrance of the Striadons, as leaves and flower petals swirl across the screen.
My Little Pony
… am I the only one who liked the Prince better as Scorpan? :3
I think EVERYONE liked him better as scorpan
pinkie, is that a g1 Shining Armor in the backround?
That’s Glory. She’s a girl. Shining Armor didn’t exsist until like last year.
This is my favorite style of MLP animation.
Yeah, I’ve never met anyone who didn’t like Scorpan better as a … whatever he was before he was a prince.
Firefly’s Special Quest, Part 4

Comments: “Firefly, I’m going to need you to polish these again. Damn wizard got fingerprints all over them.”
This story would transition perfectly into a roleplaying session if it had some more random monster encounters in it. I like the breadth of it, the way it really gets out of Dream Castle and Ponyland and explores what’s Out There.
Sundance and the Saucy Sally

Comments: Arguably the best pony comic title of all time.
Hasbro Toy Fair catalog 1983 - Show Stable
Comments: I don’t actually own this catalog, but when I saw it on eBay several months ago I saved this image from the auction.
This advertisement for the Show Stable is very interesting. The dog is called “Twinkle” rather than Brandy and is a prototype with different colors/paint application. Lemon Drop, the pony who came with the Show Stable is nowhere in sight. Instead it kind of implies that Snuzzle will be the playset pony.
